With mine installed, I can’t rack the slide far back enough for the slide catch to engage, and thus, I can’t release the takedown lever. Also, with the recoil spring installed, it sticks out quite a bit in front.Clean out the factory oils. Lube really well and take it to the range. Slide release tends to be harder to operate on empty mags as well. Mine was stiff, cleaned it and racked a bunch of times and that helped.
