Elven Curve blade is a pretty good weapon for a monk: it's a d8 weapon that's Finesse and Forceful which works quite well with a dex build and competitive vs stance attacks. Weapon runes are also cheaper than handwraps so it's competitive there too. Elves actually have the best weapon for the feat IMO.
