Running KOTOR in 1920x1080. Hey all. I've been google-fuing around and found this webpage describing how to mod KOTOR so I can run it in 1920x1080. I seem to have come across a point in the instructions I can no longer understand. I got the cracked game, got a Hex editor and started following this guide, but I get lost right at step one.
Microsoft released xinput for Windows (the system Xbox controllers use) in 2005. KOTOR was released in 2003! Also this game was not ported from PC to Xbox, it released on Xbox first đ. If itâs any consolation KOTOR 2 runs well on the Steam Deck, controls and all.Every game that shows as unsupported on Steam Deck can still be installed. Some work, some don't. Kotor works absolutely fine, just install it like you would from your library and start it up. Works fine! According to this video at 5:00, a bunch of EA games on Steam have been tested and got their rating. As expected, SWTOR received a "Playable" rating because it requires the login via an external launcher. So yes, we will be able to play this game on the Steam Deck and I am looking forward to it. The Steam Deck and Controller have really detailed layout editing and additional buttons. I had abilities 1-4 on the face buttons, then if I held down one of the back buttons it would do abilities 5-8, and then had 9-12 on the D-pad.

Any large area, or an area with 5+ characters, is getting 20 FPS or less. Combat can become almost unplayable. I have 2K texture mods, but I wouldn't expect such poor performance.
