First off, the dragon crossbow is just a no because it has 94 ranged attack compared to the dhc's 95. So even vs non-dragons, the dhc is slightly better than the dragon crossbow. It is definitely possible to be gargoyle ready in just a few days but I recommend putting extra effort into the character. -I get about 55k melee exp/hr at 84 attack/strength/defense. -I have averaged about 550k gp/hr. A massive upgrade from where I started, which was 78 melee stats and camped guthans spear, where I averaged around 400k gp/hr.
