My work around using reunion mod with remako is to copy my save file over. Disable reunion mod via the option.ini then boot up the game do the achievement I want and quit and re-enable the mod and go on my merry way. I don't know if this would work for 7th Heaven mod though.

I've just finished playing through FF7 with some nice graphical/audio enhancements via 7th Heaven (no gameplay changes) and it was a wonderful experience.
