Saves are located in "C:\Users\ {your profile name]}\Zomboid\Saves\" then the game type (Sandbox, Survival, Apocalypse, etc.).It lets you create a Journal that you can use to restore your skill levels from your dead character. It does require you to update the Journal after leveling a skill up. So you have to stay on top of it or risk not recording your skill levels. Set it lower if you want a lower floor, but you still have to regrind to max again. So I can sell it to myself to keep a playthrough going.
