I ran a Frenzy barb as my first D2R character, and have done a few minor updates to the guide since finishing my first D2R playthrough. I find that using only the Barb makes early ladder more challenging and makes the overall ladder last longer for me (ie I refrain from making a CE necro/trapsin/javazon to farm the Barb's Grief on day1-2).

Pitzerker has a couple of features that make hime exceptionally good for mf'ing the lvl85 areas: - teleport from boss group to boss group with enigma. - use Howl to make all normal monster flee, singleing out the boss. - Berserk is a high damage skill, that quickly disposes the single target. Imo it depends on what's terrorized. Andy, I think, has proven to be one of if not the best TZ farming for mf. Someone with the fastest tp and boss killing potential would prob trump the pit zerker. If the pits TZ then I think elite sniping with a pit zerker is still better. Could be wrong though.

By far, the most efficient MF character is the Pit Zerker due to it's good fcr bp, howl (crowd control), item find and huge mf (can easily get over 775 bp). So, my main rote is Pits with pitzerker. The second best character is pure blizzard sorceress in Ancient Tunnels, but I dislike the gameplay of this build.

Easily my most profitable character, but definitely used my sorc to get him started. Grief for a weapon is best, but a 2h botd isn't bad either.
