The spec is more or less a magical AGS with *much* less accuracy. Also, the 85s people are posting are in max gear. This isn't realistic- nobody is bringing the staff and max gear into the wilderness. Period. If you do decide to take the staff into the wilderness, good luck avoiding smite teams in multi and singles teams.

Nechs, smokes, dusties - are all good tasks with Kodai being the BIS. Nightmare staff with the harmonized orb is BIS for the Kraken boss, but the krakens' task is trash for exp and $ --> block list after trident/pet drop (if not sooner). Eldrich Orbs' prayer restoration spec is nice but it's easier and more convenient to sip a pot.
The rune saving mechanic is a moot point since it'll take you 100k worth of casts to make it viable over the nightmare staff and the idea that you might make money or lose money on kodai applies to the nightmare staff.
