Dislike saying it but perfect Pets are not always a sure thing. So if you need Gold to Hatch again, consider going to Halfang, or Gardening a couple of full sized Gardens of King Parsley, 64 plants, 32 fit in the Max Size Spell. These are good for Amber(For Crafting Spells) 1st, Pets Snacks 2nd(which you sell to fill your bank) and finally Feints.

I recommend king parsley’s. The truth is no other plant in the game is anywhere near as good for mega snacks. Go to savarstaad pass, caravan, or aeriel jungle to farm a crazy amount of couch potatoes and emps. To elaborate a bit on how ultra parsley drops work - like the commenter above you explained, UKP aren't guaranteed to drop a seed on elder. I didn't care about the seeds at the time. Much later I started a garden with about 10 seeds. When you grow them they sometimes give you additional seeds.
