There's a lot of randomization going on, so that you can get Tarkov'ed by a buckshot from 100m away without any warning or have 5 seconds to carefully aim amd target or have a scav missing you from 5 metres away. Tagged and cursed would allow you to use your scav how you see fit, I am 100% with you, if I spawned with a 20 mill key I would want to be able to get out with ease.
