Oct 24, 2016 · Pull the line that comes out of the pump and goes to the carb off the carb inlet. Put the end of the line in a container and crank the engine and see if fuel pulses out. If it doesn't, either the fuel pump is bad, or maybe one of the other two lines are cracked or not connected. If those lines check out fine, I'd consider the pump bad.
