I know, most don't make any sense until NG+ at least, but I'm curious of any recommended ones out there to consider with skill tree learning and such. IMO Odachi is one of the easier weapons to use, and fists is one of the harder ones, so the difference in effectiveness may simply be experience. There's no reason they wouldn't be fine together.
