It is multilevel due to the terrain and built on a foundation grid to make it easier to have a flat building spot. The secondary base is is near the Southern Aqueduct by the falls on the northern river. Scuttler’s Shortcut is near by for easy access. At Sinkhole (H6), there is a pathway leading down to a river just to the north, while at Sepermeru, you could build just to the west at the oasis (B8).

Early on, I like the river valley near the tower of the bats, then the plateau by the den, close to the king rhino. Dagons claw. Underated base. Close to brim spawns In water and tons of animals around for tar. Pillar base and hard AF to treb. Enough land claim and you can't God it. Plus far from obs so easy to defend.

Besides not getting a full choice of base location in online play I've found that it's more fun than solo play, even just chatting and not interacting. Plus you can cooperate if you want which makes some content more fun. You can also technically PvP on a PvE server too with a placed banner which can make for fun events.
